This evening of the Partisan Festival 2023 will be closed with the screening of Marta Popivoda’s film Landscapes of Resistance (2021), followed by a short discussion with the film director, moderated by Hana Čurak.
In the form of a documentary, the film narrates the story Sofia Sonja Vujanović who joins the Communists fighting the Nazis occupying WWII Serbia and after being taken to Auschwitz becomes a resistance leader there. It offers a female view on the Partisan struggle and memory.
Den Abschluss dieses Abends des Partisan Festivals 2023 bildet die Vorführung des Films Landscapes of Resistance (2021) von Marta Popivoda, gefolgt von einer kurzen Diskussion mit der Regisseurin, die von Hana Čurak moderiert wird.
In Form eines Dokumentarfilms, erzählt der Film die Geschichte von Sofia Sonja Vujanović, die sich den Kommunisten im Kampf gegen die Nazis, die Serbien im Zweiten Weltkrieg besetzten, anschließt und nach ihrer Verschleppung nach Auschwitz dort zur Widerstandsführerin wird. Der Film generiert eine weibliche Perspektive auf den Partisanenkampf und die Erinnerung.
