Imitation ist ein menschlicher Mechanismus. Unser unbefriedigtes Verlangen, uns selbst zu verbessern, führt zu der Imitation von Praktiken, die Fortschritt versprechen. Doch Imitation ohne Reflexion bedeutet freiwillige Selbstgleichschaltung. Wer kopiert, ist leicht manipulierbar. Um diesen Mechanismus zu unterbrechen und mehr Kontrolle über unser Verhalten zu gewinnen, werden wir Strategien untersuchen, die zu Imitation führen. Warum kopiere ich etwas? Was liegt in bestimmten Bewegungen, dass wir sie nachahmen? ‘Show me how’ wird den menschlichen Mechanismus der Imitation auseinander nehmen und den gesammelten Wahnsinn der Nachahmungskultur auf der Bühne zerlegen.

Imitation is a human mechanism. Our unsatisfied desire to improve ourselves leads to the imitation of practices that promise enhancement. But imitation without reflection means voluntary synchronization of the self. The one who copies is easy to manipulate. In order to gain more control about our behavior, we will investigate strategies of communication that lead to the imitation. Why do I copy something? What lies in certain movements that makes us imitate them? SHOW ME HOW is going to deconstruct the human mechanism of imitation and and cut up the collected madness of the imitation culture.
