POSTOST ZINE CLUB schafft Anlässe, um Beziehungen zwischen divers erträumten und gelebten Alternativen zu Kapitalismus, Patriarchat, Kolonialismus und Nationalismus und dem dissidenten Erbe der DDR auszuloten.
POST OST ZINE CLUB ist ein Club für alle, die selbstgemachte Hefte, Bücher, Plakate, Sticker lieben. Außerdem gibt es Kunst, Gespräche und Filme.
Bei POST OST geht es um Sozialismus und die Orte, wo Sozialismus war, ist und sein kann. Sozialismus ist eine Idee davon, wie Menschen zusammen leben können. Die Idee vom Sozialismus ist, dass alles, was Menschen brauchen, mit allen geteilt werden kann.

wildes wiederholen. material von unten (2019) versammelt künstlerische und politische Zugänge zum Archiv der DDR-Opposition und dissidenter Erinnerung aus kritisch-postsozialistischen, queer*feministischen, linken, Schwarzen, postmigrantischen und intersektionalen Perspektiven. Basierend auf Materialien der Friedens- und Umweltbewegung aus dem Archiv der DDR-Opposition wollen wir gemeinsam über die Ökologien nachdenken, die von Extraktionsprozessen gezeichnet sind. Die noch wenig erzählten Geschichten des Uranbergbaus, Braunkohleabbaus, Kupferabbaus oder der Melioration geraten durch das (Nach)Strahlen von Dokumenten und verwundeten Landschaften in den Fokus.

Archive of Gestures ist eine Rechercheplattform und Archiv zur Verkörperung von Widerstand und Revolution. Anlässlich des POSTOST ZINE CLUBS lanciert Archive of Gestures die kollaborativ, ausgehend von Statements, Manifesten und Forderungspapieren von Akteur*innen der 1989er Revolution (aus der Umwelt-, Frauen- und Friedensbewegung, schwul-lesbischen Organisierungen, und Arbeitskollektiven) entwickelten Online-Collage zur Geste Speaking und das Zine Speaking: Statements for the Future (Halle-Neustadt Edition).

Singing matter, Legeparty, zine launches & audiovisual leaks

The POSTOST ZINE CLUB creates occasions to explore the relationships between various dreamt and lived alternatives to capitalism, patriarchy, colonialism and nationalism and the dissident heritage of the GDR. POST OST ZINE CLUB is a club for everyone who loves self- made magazines, books, posters and stickers. And there will be art, conversations and films.
POST OST is about socialism and the places where socialism was, is and could be. Socialism is an idea of how people can live together. The main idea of socialism is that everything people need is shared with everyone.

wild recuperations. material from below (2019) brings together artistic and political approaches to the archive of the GDR opposition and dissident memory from critical post-socialist, queer*feminist, left-wing, Black, post-migrant and intersectional perspectives. Based on materials from the peace and environmental movement from the archive of the GDR opposition, we want to think together about ecologies that are marked by extraction processes. The rarely told stories of uranium mining, lignite mining, copper mining and land drainage come into focus by radiating documents and wounded landscapes.

Archive of Gestures is a research platform and archive on the embodiment of protest and revolution. On the occasion of the POSTOST ZINE CLUB, Archive of Gestures is launching the online collage Speaking and the zine Speaking: Statements for the Future (Halle-Neustadt Edition), which was developed collaboratively on the basis of statements, manifestos and demands from actors of the 1989 revolution (from the environmental, women’s and peace movements, gay and lesbian organizations, and work collectives).

The second cycle of the online archive and nomadic video art platform D’EST links anti-colonial and anti-totalitarian socialist worlds of life and imagination from different and sometimes contradictory times and geographies. POSTOST ZINE CLUB invites you to collectively fold, lay out and staple the freshly printed zines that have been created as part of the D’EST chapters by Fehras Publishing Practices, krёlex zentre and Nhà Sàn, as well as the nomadic Ciné Moon Mobile. The collective zine-making is accompanied by culinary and audiovisual leaks for each chapter, including the rarely seen film Shut Up White Boy (2002, 13′).
