\n \nre-joice\nEine unzuverlässige Erzählung über Abschiede: Wir wollten das gemeinsam machen. Musik. Und eine Geschichte (be)schreiben über das sich verbinden und lassen. Über die Suche nach Wegen, gemeinsam in Verbindung zu treten. Anders als sonst. Ein Rest von dem, was längst vorbei und noch nicht ist. Das Verbinden würde die Zeit überwinden. Würde alles verschwimmen lassen. Wir würden in der Zeit verschwinden, das Wir würde sich darin auflösen, davon verschluckt werden. Zusammen haben Wir eine Stimmung erschaffen, einen Raum erfunden. Irgendwie war Verlust immer mit dabei. Auch in unseren Sehnsüchten. Das aus der Welt verschwinden wollen, als eine Erinnerung an das Nichts. Da wo wir nicht mehr sind. Und wir uns andere Namen geben. Dann haben wir uns aufgelöst, geteilt, gestritten… Das Wir verschwand. Geblieben ist die Musik und die Bilder. Wurden zu Beweisen einer gelebten Zeit. Das war real. Really really real. Wir haben gegen die Auflösung gewettet. Und immer wieder trifft uns der Satz (von dir): wenn du loslässt, hast du zwei Hände frei. Aber, was dann? Wir lassen jetzt los und laden euch ein: erfreut euch. An den Bildern, am Sound einer Erzählung, deren Richtung unklar bleibt. Am Zusammensein. Am Glauben an eine Zukunft mit Musik.\n \nAn unreliable tale of goodbyes: We wanted to do this together. Music. And to write a story about connecting and letting go. About searching for ways to connect with one another. Differently than usual. A remnant of what is long past and not yet here. Connecting would transcend time. Would let everything blur together. We would vanish into time; the “we” would dissolve within it, be swallowed up by it. Together, we created a mood, invented a space. Somehow, loss was always there. Even in our longings. The desire to vanish from the world, as a memory of nothingness. To the place where we are no longer. Where we give ourselves other names. Then we dissolved, split up, argued, fell ill. The “we” disappeared. What remains is the music and the images. They became evidence of a time lived. That was real. Really, really real. We bet against dissolution. And time and again, that phrase (from you) strikes us: “When you let go, you have two hands free.” But then what? We’re letting go now and inviting you: take joy. In the images, in the sound of a narrative whose direction remains unclear. In being together.
